Field day on Improved Vegetable varieties/ hybrids and Cultivation practices at Chikkalavaru village in Somwarpet Taluk of Coorg Dt on 11th June 2015.
Division of Vegetable Crops, ICAR-Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR), Bengaluru; KVK, Gonikoppa in collaboration with CHES Chettalli is organizing a Field day on Improved Vegetable varieties/hybrids and Cultivation practices at Chikkalavaru village in Somwarpet Taluk of Coorg Dt on 11th June 2015. The aim of the field day is to demonstrate the recent technologies and to create awareness regarding vegetable cultivation in Coorg Dt. Approximately, 100-150 farmers are expected to participate from nearby Villages (Nallur, Gonikoppa, Chettalli, Kushalanagar, Madapura and Hebbale). Scientists of Division of Vegetable Crops, CHES- Chettalli and Staff of KVK Gonikoppa interact with the farmers.
