II Biennial Horticultural Innovators and Progressive Farmers Meet - 2013
Indian Institute of Horticultural Research, Hessaraghatta, Bangalore a premier institute working on horticulture and developing farmer friendly technology. It is the constant endeavour of the institute to disseminate these to farmers. The horticultural farmers too sometimes modify and refine the technologies to suit their needs, several farmers introduce new crops and techniques in their area. The ICAR has been giving recognition to such farmers and felicitation them for their effort. In this context The "II Biennial Horticultural Innovators and Progressive farmers meet", is proposed to be held at Bangalore between April and May 2013. Nominations of suitable farmers/farm women from various districts of India are invited. The duly filled nomination form may be sent to Head, Division of Extension and Training, Indian Institute of Horticulture Research, Hessarghatta Lake Post, Bengaluru - 560089 or extn@iihr.ernet.in. The candidate shall be intimated of all details after finalization of the list of awardees.
