Improvement of pummelo and grape fruit for yield and quality

Characterisation  and evaluation of pummelo accessions

• Twenty two pummelo accessions by using ‘Bioversity International’ descriptors. Two selections having thin peel from the accession 8 and 16 were selected. Four pink pulp accessions were identified for improvement programme.
• 1200 seeds of Rangpur lime have been sown for raising rootstocks for multiplication of selected pink pulp accessions.
