A Farmers’ Scientist Conclave Programme was organized during the 11th Indian Horticulture Congress – 2025 and International Meet on Horticulture for Inclusive, Equitable and Sustainable Growth on 9th November 2025 at UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru.

ICAR–IIHR conducted the Farmers’ Scientist Conclave on the same day. Dr. Y. N. Shivalingaiah, Director of Extension, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru, delivered the Welcome Address. This was followed by the Felicitation of Farmers and FPOs. Subsequently, several farmers shared their success stories, and a Farmers–Scientists Interaction Session was held.

More than 300 farmers, including 19 awardee farmers, participated in the programme and interacted with scientists on various aspects of horticultural development and technology adoption.

The programme was coordinated by the Division of Social Sciences and Training, ICAR–IIHR. Dr. R. Senthil Kumar, Principal Scientist and In-Charge Head, proposed the Vote of Thanks.
