ICAR-IIHR- CHES, Chettalli Participated and Exhibited the CHES technologies in the Coffee Dussehra 2025
ICAR-IIHR, Central Horticultural Experiment Station (CHES), Chettalli participated in the Coffee Dussehra 2025 exhibition held at Gandhi Maidan, Madikeri, on 24 September 2025. The main objective was to showcase CHES technologies, promote their adoption among coffee growers and allied stakeholders, disseminate extension materials, and strengthen linkages with farmers, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders in the coffee value chain. The display attracted a diverse cross-section of visitors, including farmers, students, extension officers, input suppliers, processors, and entrepreneurs. The event provided valuable feedback, generated new farmer enquiries, and identified opportunities for follow-up training and on-farm demonstrations. More than 2000 farmers, students and other stakeholders visited the stall and witnessed technologies displayed. Dr. Mantar Gowda, Hon’ble MLA, Madikeri and Sri. M. J. Dinesh. Chairman, Coffee Board along with many other dignitaries visited the CHES stall and appreciated the efforts of CHES-Chettalli. The CHES team comprised of Dr. Muralidhara B. M., Senior Scientist and Head (I/c), CHES, Chettalli, Dr. Nayan Deepak G., Scientist, Mr. Shreenath Mishra, Technician and Mr. Suvam Mishra, Technician attended the exhibition and interacted with visitors on queries related to hortioculture and CHES Technologies.
