An awareness programme on Kisan Diwas 2025 was organized at Kumbarahalli, Bengaluru on 22.12.2025 under the SCSP scheme by Dr. R. Senthilkumar, Head & Principal Scientist, Division of Social Sciences and Training, ICAR–IIHR, Bengaluru. The programme was chaired by the Chairman, Vice-Chairman, and members of the Taluk Panchayat.

Dr. R. Senthilkumar highlighted the significance of Kisan Diwas and briefed the participants on ICAR–IIHR activities and technologies. The programme was attended by 30 students of Ascent PU College and 20 farmers. Guava saplings and ICAR–IIHR seed kits were distributed to the participants.
