Input Needed: Requirements include general tissue culture facility and that for hardening / acclimatization.
Output Capacity: Over 1 million plants per year

Unit Cost: Production cost = Rs. 2-4 per plant (approx.) if facilities for tissue culture production exists already; Not yet commercialized; Needs scaling up
Description: This is a tissue-culture based method. Facilitates rapid multiplication of chrysanthemum and is particularly suitable for shy suckering elite clones and or the rapid stock bulking of new cultivars and introductions.
