ICAR-IIHR organized a virtual horticultural fair on March 17, 2026, to showcase advanced horticultural technologies, improved crop varieties, and best management practices. Dr. Prakash Patil, Project Coordinator (Fruits), welcomed attendees.

Distinguished guests included Dr. S. Senthil Vinayagam (Director, IIPM Bengaluru) and Mr. Srinivasulu, IFS (Principal Secretary, Karnataka Government). Dr. T. K. Behera, IIHR Director, presided over inaugural proceedings. Guests emphasized IIHR's role in empowering farmers through innovative technologies.

Participating farmers shared success stories. The virtual format enabled nationwide participation with approximately 100 participants. Dr. R. Senthil Kumar proposed a closing vote of thanks.
