A two-day training was held at ICAR-IIHR Bengaluru during March 10-11, 2026, targeting 33 farmers from Kozhikode district under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan.

Dr. V. Sankar presented vegetable crop technologies; Dr. N. R. Prasanna Kumar covered pest and disease management; Dr. Linta Vincent discussed fruit crop technologies; Dr. Ranjitha addressed pre/post-harvest techniques including processing and value addition.

Participants toured ATIC, Nursery Mall, and BESST-HORT facilities. Dr. Reena Rosy Thomas explained ICAR-IIHR mobile and web applications. Attendees received certificates and inputs including Arka Microbial Consortium, neem soap, and jamun grafts.
