Objective
- Understanding dynamics of cations Na+, K+, Ca++, Mg++ and anions Cl-, and SO4- in soils under salt stress conditions.
- Understanding nutrient imbalance under saline soil conditions.
- To know the effect of salinity on nutrient uptake and ion regulation in different plant parts
- To adopt suitable management practices for correcting nutrient imbalance and to work out optimum nutrient requirement under salt stress conditions for improving crop yield and quality.
