  1. Developed integrated disease management strategies for Fusarium wilt in Gladiolus and Phytophthora root rot in Crossandra.
  2. Identification and characterization of important fungal and viral pathogens: Papaya leaf curl virus and betasatellite in Calendula officinalis, French bean leaf curl virus and beta satellite in French bean, Bipolaris setariae in Brown top Millet, Phytophthora nicotianae in Chrysanthemum and Plasmopara sphagneticolae in Bhringraj.
  3. Studies on gentetic diversity of Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. dianthi in carnation using Multi-locus phylogeny.
  4. Standardardization of PCR based method to identify pathogenic and non-pathogenic isolates of Fusarium oxysporum using SIX genes in carnation.
  5. Screening and identification of resistant germplasm in Tuberose for Alternaria blight, Gladiolus against Fusarium wilt, Marigold for Alternaria blight.
